ANNUAL ROAST FUNDRAISER

Our Annual Roast Fundraiser raises over $40,000 each year in support of the Children’s Advocacy Center of the Coastal Bend. This is the CACCBs largest event of the year and is designed to offer an evening of PG-13 comedic fun while “roasting” a prominent member of our community. Sponsors for this event receive special recognition throughout the evening, including an ad in the event program, along with many other distinctive benefits. PINWHEELS EVENT

Date TBA| 5AM – 6PM

Hosted in the front lawn of the Kiii Studios, the Pinwheel event is designed to bring education and awareness to child abuse in our community. The CACCB displays one pinwheel for every child forensically interviewed for alleged abuse or neglect; in 2017, the CACCB displayed 1,442 pinwheels. We encourage the community to stop by Kiii Studios during this event to learn more about child abuse statistics, what to do if a child makes an outcry, and behaviors that are common in children who have been abused.

Coastal Bend Day of Giving is a 24-hour online opportunity to raise funds for selected non-profits throughout the Coastal Bend. The Coastal Bend Community Foundation selects 45 non-profits to participate in this community give together. In 2017 the Children’s Advocacy Center raised over $33,000. This event is very unique because every dollar you donate is matched and doubled!
