OUR MISSION

The mission of the CACCB is to minimize the trauma to abused children and their families by uniting the efforts of public agencies and enlisting the support of the community and to protect, restore, and transform the lives and futures of abused children.

WHO WE ARE

Children’s Advocacy Center of the Coastal Bend (CACCB) is a victim centered, multidisciplinary team approach to the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases, providing specialized forensic interviews, therapeutic recovery services, and case management.

The CACCB is a non-profit agency who provides services and programs to children who are alleged victims of sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, children who have witnessed a violent crime, and drug-endangered children. We are an accredited member of the National Children’s Alliance and Children’s Advocacy Centers of Texas, Inc. and receive funding through grants, private donations, and fundraisers. 

The CACCB provides services to a 12-county area throughout the Coastal Bend: Aransas, Beeville, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, McMullen, Nueces, Refugio, and San Patricio.

The CACCB is looking for eager volunteers to assist with various tasks: office assistance, creating information packets, assisting with donation intake, attending health fairs, and assisting with presentations, just to name a few!
